    As the school year winds down, the Gould community is gearing up for a busy and exciting end-of-year schedule. There's plenty to look forward to, from final projects and performances to spring competitions and celebrations. Stay tuned for important dates and details as we wrap up another unforgettable year in the mountains of Maine!

  • Sunday, May 11

    End of Year Art Show
    4:00 pm | Owen Art Cottage
    This student exhibition is a selection of works representing the best pieces made over the 2024-25 school year. There will be two and three-dimensional works. There will also be refreshments.

    Mahoosuc Community Band Concert
    4:00 pm | Bingham Auditorium
    Enjoy music performed by Gould students and community members.

  • Tuesday, May 20

    Spring Concert

    Families are welcome to come to campus to take photos, help with flowers, and see students before they head off to enjoy the dinner and dance.

    Underclass Awards Ceremony
    6:00 pm | Formal dinner (required for students)

    Reception in Ordway Hall lobby will immediately follow the ceremony.
    In addition to academic awards, student leadership positions will also be announced. Families are welcome to attend in person or watch online. The families of students receiving awards are notified by an additional email announcement.

  • Thursday, May 29

    Last Day of Final Exams
    9:00 - 11:00 am | DOT 1 Final

    Underclass Students:
    Underclass students are encouraged to depart campus after their final obligation, on Thursday, May 29 at 12 pm ET. Underclass boarding students who choose to remain on campus after Thursday must attend the formal ceremonies for the senior class. End-of-year travel plans are due for underclass boarding students by May 9.
    • Boarding families: Please refer to to make travel arrangements. 
    • Each Gould boarding student and their family is encouraged to work with their advisor to develop an end-of-year departure plan. If you have any questions, please contact our Travel Coordinator Abbey Quinn.

  • Friday, May 30

    Underclass students:
    Underclass students depart campus.

    Graduating Class:
    Baccalaureate Ceremony
    5:00 pm | Bingham Auditorium
    This ceremony is a time to reflect on the graduates' achievements and recognize the hard work and dedication that went into earning their diplomas. The class banner will also be presented.

    Baccalaureate Dinner
    6:00 pm | Ordway Hall
    The dinner and ceremony are open to any graduate's family and friends who wish to attend. There is no guest limit on commencement or baccalaureate, and no need to RSVP.

  • Saturday, May 31

    Commencement Ceremony
    10:30 am | Alumni Field
    The ceremony will take place outdoors, rain, snow or shine. This field is the traditional backdrop for graduation, marking the same spot where students first arrived on campus and began their high school journey at Gould.  All parents and families of graduates will have seats under the tent. Others are welcome to sit on the lawn and bank outside the tent. There is no guest limit on commencement or baccalaureate, and no need to RSVP.

    Light refreshments will be available for students and guests after the ceremony.

    Generally, seniors, their guests, and faculty linger on the field following the ceremony to connect, share memories, and say their goodbyes.

    2025 Yearbook Ads 
    Celebrate the achievements and milestones of ÂÜÀòÊÓƵ's graduating seniors in the upcoming 2024/2025 Yearbook! Each senior will be honored by Gould with a dedicated 1/3 page featuring their name, portrait, and the option for a memorable senior quote.
     
    The celebration doesn't stop there! Parents and family members are invited to contribute an additional page in the yearbook, filled with cherished memories, heartfelt messages, and proud congratulations. These personalized pages are a beautiful way to commemorate the journey and accomplishments of your Gould graduate. Don't miss out on this opportunity to create a lasting tribute!

    2025 Yearbook Opt Out
    By default, all current students will receive the 2024/2025 Gould yearbook by mail or on campus during the following school year. If you do not want your student to receive the yearbook, please send an email to Gould’s business office stating that you would like to Opt Out of receiving a yearbook for the 2024/2025 school year. Send email to: crocketts@gouldacademy.org before April 28, 2025. 

  • Special Paver Sale for Senior Families

    Celebrate the Class of 2025 with a Special Paver Sale!
    Honor your graduate with a personalized paver at a discounted rate. From now until June 1, 2025, all Senior families can enjoy $100 off any size paver:

  • Senior Portraits and Event Photos

    Senior portraits will be taken the week of April 28th (weather permitting) and made available for families to download and/or purchase prints via . These portraits will also be used in the yearbook, the local newspaper, and other places.

    Event photos will also be posted on SmugMug.

  • Senior Baby Photos

    Senior families: Please send a baby photo of your senior soon to commencement@gouldacademy.org to be used in the senior slideshow! Please send by May 1, 2025.

At Gould, we have many end-of-year traditions that are both rites of passage and a way for faculty and students to celebrate their time together as it draws to a close. .  
Whether your Gould student will be marching across the stage to accept their diploma at Commencement or is winding down the first year of their experience, Gould will always be a second home.
